Family Photo Shoot | Jones Family

Family Photo Shoot | Jones Family

For this photo session, we visited the beach. Changed location and then got lost and ended up having a picnic on some marshland. We finally made to the right location in time to chill. Chaos. In a good way.

This is the second time I’ve been lucky enough to photograph Andy and Laura and their two little ones. I’m always fascinated to see the dynamics of parenthood, and it amazes me to see how much they have grown in a year. Fun fact, Andy used to be my boss, it’s nice to see him in parent mode with his loved ones and hanging out outside of work.

Natural Photography

Included in every gallery are natural portraiture photos of your children, in addition to all the family pictures of you together. Once your kids have got used to the camera and are acting naturally  and relaxed, it’s time for close up natural photos. The girls loved the camera, so i was able to literally hold the camera in front of their face.I wouldn’t do that to an adult but kids really don’t care. The littlest one must have been enjoying it as she asked halfway through the photo shoot when I was coming next.

Varied Gallery

I roll documentary photography and lifestyle together and work hard so you receive a gallery that is full of variety. It’s important to me (and you) that the whole experience of being photographed is stress-free and feels as natural as possible. The best way to approach a family photo shoot is from a place of yielding and going with the flow rather than trying to force things that don’t feel right.

I photographed this session with hefty dose of the documentary approach, it allows moments to be captured that I’d never be able to manufacture. The way the two girls were with each other was beyond cute, Hannah and Libby are simply beautiful.
